REAL ESTATE FINANCE | SENIOR ASSOCIATE (6+ YRS): Our client, a Global firm, is seeking a high-performing associate to join its Real Estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work within a sophisticated real estate practice advising lenders, investors, developers, and owners on complex real estate transactions across a broad range of asset classes.
The Associate will represent clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, financing documents, development agreements, and other real estate-related contracts. The role also involves coordinating and managing transaction closings, conducting title and survey review, overseeing due diligence, analyzing zoning and land use issues, and advising clients on joint venture structures, development arrangements, and ongoing asset management matters. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with partners and clients, manage transaction workstreams, mentor junior associates, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of client work.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; at least 6 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience including real estate finance matters; experience representing clients in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development transactions; prior law firm experience; strong academic credentials; excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills; and active Georgia Bar admission in good standing. Lender-side financing experience is preferred.
