INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY | PATENT PROSECUTION ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Electronics & Software Patent Prosecution team. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies within a leading international law firm.

The Associate will focus on patent prosecution matters involving advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud computing, image processing, and autonomous systems. Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting U.S. patent applications, conducting technical analysis, advising clients on intellectual property strategy, and collaborating with inventors and internal teams across a range of industries. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent technical writing skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and legal audiences.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); at least 3 years of patent prosecution experience; degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (e.g., Mathematics or Physics); experience working with AI, machine learning, cloud computing, or similar technologies; strong academic credentials; and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
