GENERAL LIABILITY / COMPLEX LIABILITY | JUNIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, a national firm, is seeking a junior level associate to join its General Liability practice, focusing on complex liability and catastrophic loss matters. This role offers the opportunity to handle high-exposure cases while working within a collaborative, fast-paced litigation team.
The Associate will manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including conducting file review and legal analysis of claims, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery, and representing clients in court, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. Responsibilities also include working with expert witnesses, assisting in trial preparation, and collaborating closely with partners and clients to develop strategic and practical legal solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters independently while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active admission to the applicable state bar; minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability, insurance defense, or related litigation; strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, mediations, and court proceedings; ability to work independently and collaboratively; and strong organizational and client communication skills.
