GENERAL LIABILITY / COMPLEX LIABILITY |OF COUNSEL (10+ YRS): Our client, a national firm,  is seeking an experienced Of Counsel attorney to join its General Liability and Insurance Defense practice. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to lead high-exposure, complex liability matters, including catastrophic loss cases, within a collaborative and nationally recognized litigation team.

The Of Counsel attorney will independently manage a full caseload from inception through trial preparation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and trial strategy. This role involves representing clients in general liability matters such as premises liability and construction-related accidents, while working closely with partners, clients, and expert witnesses to develop and execute sophisticated defense strategies. Additional responsibilities include drafting substantive legal documents, overseeing and mentoring associates and staff, and ensuring timely and high-quality case management. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate autonomously while contributing to broader team objectives. This position requires meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active admission to the Georgia Bar; 10+ years of experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation; experience handling complex liability or catastrophic loss matters; strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, mediations, and trial preparation; and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
