eMERGE - COMPLEX LITIGATION, TRANSACTIONAL , COMPLIANCE AND GOV'T INVESTIGATIONS |  SENIOR ATTORNEY (7+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm,  is seeking a Senior Attorney to join its eMerge team in any U.S. office. This role serves in a privileged lead capacity, supporting complex litigation, transactional matters, compliance matters, and government investigations through innovative legal technology and eDiscovery solutions.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced eDiscovery attorney with strong technical knowledge and expertise in attorney client privilege management. The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of litigation, technology, and artificial intelligence while helping clients navigate complex, data driven legal matters.

The Senior Attorney will serve as the primary guardian of attorney client privilege and work product protections throughout the document review process. Responsibilities include serving as the primary point of contact for privilege related issues during document review, designing and implementing privilege sweeps and screening protocols, advising case teams on privilege strategy, ensuring compliance with eMerge privilege procedures, drafting and finalizing privilege logs, and escalating complex privilege determinations when appropriate. The role also includes overseeing and conducting quality control for AI assisted privilege reviews, utilizing technology to improve the efficiency and accuracy of document review workflows.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience and be licensed and in good standing in the state where they practice. Applicants should possess in-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations, and industry best practices, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have experience with privilege review management, privilege logging, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and the preservation, filtering, and export of electronically stored information. Experience with Relativity is strongly preferred. Demonstrated technical proficiency and experience overseeing AI assisted privilege review workflows are also required.
