CORPORATE – REAL ESTATE FINANCE | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL  ASSOCIATE: Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm,  is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Real Estate group, with flexible location options across all U.S. offices and a strong preference for candidates based in Atlanta. This role supports a tenured, AmLaw 100 practice representing national financial institutions in sophisticated real estate finance and commercial lending transactions.

The Associate will work within a collaborative team advising traditional and non-traditional lenders and borrowers on acquisition financing, working capital credit facilities, letters of credit, and other complex commercial finance structures. The position offers direct client interaction, the opportunity to handle meaningful components of transactions, and the ability to grow within a collegial, intellectually engaging environment.

The Associate will draft and negotiate loan documents, manage deal process and closing logistics, conduct due diligence, analyze lending structures, and support partners across a national finance platform. Candidates must demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently. The role requires a team-oriented mindset and the professionalism to support a high-volume practice serving sophisticated financial clients.

REQUIRED: A JD from an accredited law school with 2-4 years of substantive experience in commercial finance and corporate lending; experience representing lenders and/or borrowers across acquisition financing, working capital facilities, credit facilities, and other complex lending transactions; excellent academic credentials; strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills; exceptional attention to detail and organizational capability; and active bar admission in a major metropolitan jurisdiction where Nelson Mullins maintains an office. Preference is given to candidates located in Atlanta.
