CORPORATE – INCENTIVES | MID-SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (6+ YRS): Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join its corporate practice with a focus on advising domestic and international companies expanding or relocating within the United States. This role supports clients across a wide range of industries as they establish new corporate headquarters, manufacturing and distribution facilities, data centers, and major office projects, while identifying and negotiating discretionary economic development incentives. The practice is high-volume, fast-paced, and highly collaborative across the firm’s U.S. offices.
The Associate will assist with and manage complex matters involving incentive negotiations, regulatory considerations, project development, and multi-jurisdictional coordination. This role requires excellent judgment, strong drafting and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with precision. The attorney will work directly with partners and clients, mentor junior associates, and contribute to strategic planning for major corporate projects. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to operate independently while also working seamlessly within an integrated team.
REQUIRED: A JD from an accredited law school with at least 6 years of experience advising companies on U.S. expansions or relocations, negotiating economic development incentives, and supporting large-scale corporate projects such as headquarters developments, manufacturing and distribution sites, data centers, and other major commercial facilities. Candidates must have strong analytical, writing, organizational, and communication skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment while mentoring junior attorneys. Bar admission in the attorney’s resident jurisdiction is required.
