HEALTH LAW LITIGATION ATTORNEY | 2+ YRS | ATLANTA, CHATTANOOGA, OR JOHNSON CITY: Our client, a full-service law firm with a sophisticated national healthcare practice, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Health Law Litigation Practice in its Atlanta, Chattanooga, or Johnson City office. This is a non-shareholder track position offering the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative team of attorneys and paralegals defending hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers in healthcare litigation matters. This opportunity is well suited for a bright, hardworking attorney with strong judgment, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and writing skills. A partial remote work arrangement and flexible and/or reduced hours may be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers in healthcare litigation matters
• Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, legal research, analysis, and preparation of written submissions
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation-related documents
• Work collaboratively as part of a team of attorneys and paralegals in the defense of sophisticated healthcare litigation matters
• Manage assigned matters and responsibilities with strong judgment, organization, and attention to detail
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years exp. handling litigation matters; prior healthcare litigation experience is a plus but is not required
• Experience with discovery and motion practice; excellent legal writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team of attorneys and paralegals while managing multiple litigation responsibilities
• JD from an accredited law school
• Georgia and/or Tennessee bar licensed preferred, as applicable to office location
