LITIGATION- COMPLEX LIABILITY & CATASTROPHIC LOSS | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, a nationally recognized insurance defense litigation firm,  is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Complex Liability and Catastrophic Loss practice. This position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated, high-exposure litigation matters while working closely with experienced partners and clients within a collaborative, fast-paced defense practice.

The Associate will manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, including conducting legal analysis of claims and causes of action, performing extensive legal research, and drafting substantive briefs, pleadings, memoranda, and appellate filings. Responsibilities include representing clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions; drafting and responding to discovery; coordinating and working with expert witnesses; and assisting with trial preparation and strategy. The role requires strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and the ability to collaborate with partners, clients, and stakeholders while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, mediations, and administrative proceedings; excellent organizational and communication abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities independently and within a team environment; and active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
