COMPLEX LIABILITY & INSURANCE DEFENSE | JUNIOR to MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its Complex Liability and Catastrophic Loss practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse litigation docket involving high-exposure matters from inception through resolution, including court appearances, arbitrations, and depositions. The position is well-suited for a motivated litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work both independently and collaboratively with partners and clients.

The Associate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing claims and causes of action, conducting extensive legal research, and drafting substantive briefs, pleadings, memoranda, and appellate filings. Additional responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery, working with expert witnesses, preparing for and attending trial, and regularly representing clients in court and depositions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong litigation judgment, excellent written and oral advocacy skills, and a high level of ownership over deadlines and case management. An annual billable requirement of approximately 1,950 hours applies.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (additional bar admissions a plus); minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with depositions, mediations, and administrative proceedings; ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment; professional demeanor with strong client-relations and communication skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
