EMPLOYEE BENEFITS & EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm,  is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation group.. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and nationally recognized practice, advising clients on sophisticated compensation and benefits matters, particularly in the context of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

The Associate will support and manage complex transactional matters involving executive compensation arrangements, equity plans, employee benefit plans, and retirement and welfare programs. Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis, drafting transaction documents and advisory materials, and assisting with negotiations, closings, and compliance matters. The role also involves working closely with internal and external clients, participating in high-level deal activity, and collaborating across practice groups to develop strategic solutions. Candidates will be expected to maintain strong client relationships, ensure compliance with evolving legal standards, and contribute to the firm’s collaborative and high-performing culture.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3+ years of corporate or related experience; interest or experience in employee benefits and executive compensation, including equity plans, executive arrangements, and M&A-related benefits work; strong research, writing, and analytical skills; excellent communication abilities; and admission to the applicable state bar. Am Law 100 experience is preferred.
