LITIGATION (CRYPTOCURRENCY LITIGATION & REGULATORY DEFENSE) | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2-6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking an Associate to join its Cryptocurrency Litigation & Regulatory Defense Team.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with a genuine interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain who is looking to build a practice dedicated exclusively to the digital asset industry. This role is industry exclusive but practice agnostic, allowing attorneys to work exclusively with cryptocurrency and blockchain clients while gaining experience across multiple legal disciplines.
The Associate will represent leading cryptocurrency and blockchain companies in a wide variety of matters, including cryptocurrency litigation, cryptocurrency bankruptcy litigation, regulatory counseling, enforcement defense, product development, state licensing, trust charter matters, and blockchain related transactions. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and legal memoranda, conducting legal research, advising clients on evolving cryptocurrency regulations, assisting with government investigations, supporting litigation strategy, and collaborating with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients operating in the digital asset industry.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where they intend to work and possess outstanding academic credentials from a top tier law school along with exceptional writing skills. Applicants must have a strong working knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Experience involving cryptocurrency litigation, digital asset regulatory matters, blockchain products, government investigations, or enforcement proceedings is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate a strong interest in crypto law and the ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
