PATENT PROSECUTION & LITIGATION | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an Associate to join its Patent Prosecution and Litigation practice, with a technical focus in Electrical Engineering, Software, or Mechanical Engineering.

The Associate will be responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications, including substantive application drafting, and supporting patent litigation matters as needed. Candidates must have experience with HVAC systems, and will work closely with attorneys and clients on protecting and enforcing intellectual property across a range of technologies. Exposure to additional areas of intellectual property beyond patent prosecution is a plus. The ideal candidate is driven, detail-oriented, and committed to developing a long-term career within a collaborative and client-focused practice.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; 2+ years of patent prosecution experience, including application drafting; degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field; demonstrated experience with HVAC systems; registration to practice before the USPTO; active bar admission in the state where the candidate will work; excellent academic credentials; outstanding written and oral communication skills; strong organizational and analytical abilities. Experience with other forms of intellectual property beyond patent prosecution is preferred.
