CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES | ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - NON-PARTNERSHIP TRACK (5-10 YRS): Our client, a leading national firm, is seeking a Career Associate to join its nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services practice group. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex consumer finance litigation and regulatory matters for financial institutions and other industry participants across the country.
The Associate will manage a broad range of litigation matters involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including cases arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Responsibilities include independent case management, court appearances, supervising junior team members, drafting motions and pleadings, conducting discovery, and advising clients on litigation and regulatory strategy. The practice also includes work involving credit reporting, debt collection, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending, payment processing, fair housing, and investigations initiated by government agencies.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 5–10 years of litigation experience; strong academic credentials and writing ability; experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred; experience defending matters under the FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA preferred; ability to independently manage cases and supervise others; and admission to practice law and good standing in the applicable jurisdiction. Nevada licensure is preferred for virtual office candidates.
