PRIVATE EQUITY | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join its Corporate practice group. This role provides the opportunity to work on sophisticated private equity and mergers and acquisitions transactions within a leading global law firm.
The Associate will advise private equity firms and strategic buyers and sellers on complex M&A and private equity transactions. Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, assisting in structuring and managing transactions from inception through closing, and supporting negotiations and deal execution. Associates will work closely with partners, clients, and deal teams to develop transaction strategies and ensure compliance with applicable legal standards. The role also involves regular client interaction, participation in negotiations and meetings, and collaboration across practice groups in a fast-paced transactional environment.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–6 years of experience in private equity or mergers and acquisitions at a leading corporate law firm; superior academic credentials; excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills; strong interpersonal and communication abilities; and admission to the Georgia Bar.
