INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (LIFE SCIENCES)| SENIOR ASSOCIATE / OF COUNSEL (7+ YRS) : Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Associate or Of Counsel to join its Intellectual Property group. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, full-service firm supporting cutting-edge clients in the life sciences and technology sectors.

The attorney will focus on patent prosecution and intellectual property matters, advising clients in industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and materials science. Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patentability and freedom-to-operate opinions, providing strategic patent counseling, and conducting IP due diligence in connection with business transactions. The role also involves collaborating with corporate and transactional teams to support life sciences companies across a full spectrum of legal needs.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; advanced degree in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, materials science, or a related field; 7+ years of patent prosecution and intellectual property experience; registration with the USPTO; prior law firm or relevant industry experience; strong academic credentials; and excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
