REGULATORY INVESTIGATIONS (RISE) | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4-5 YRS): Our client, AmLaw 100, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its nationally recognized Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) practice group. This role offers the opportunity to advise clients on high-stakes regulatory enforcement matters, internal investigations, and multistate government actions.
The Associate will work extensively on matters involving State Attorneys General, including responding to civil investigative demands (CIDs), coordinating multistate investigations, and negotiating resolutions. Responsibilities include advising clients on regulatory strategy, conducting internal investigations, supporting related litigation, and maintaining relationships with State AG offices. The role also involves significant client interaction and opportunities to contribute to thought leadership through writing and publication.
This is an excellent opportunity for an associate seeking a high-impact regulatory practice with meaningful client exposure and involvement in complex, multijurisdictional enforcement matters.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4–5 years of experience handling regulatory investigations, particularly involving State Attorneys General; experience responding to CIDs and participating in multistate investigations; strong writing and analytical skills; demonstrated interest or experience in thought leadership; and admission to practice in the applicable jurisdiction. Prior experience in a State Attorney General’s office is strongly preferred.
