MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4-6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its nationally recognized Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border M&A transactions within a collaborative global platform.
The Associate will manage complex M&A matters with a particular emphasis on private equity and private target transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating equity and asset purchase agreements and related transaction documents, conducting and summarizing legal due diligence, coordinating transaction timelines, and collaborating with subject matter specialists and junior team members throughout the deal process. The role also involves direct interaction with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors, requiring strong communication and project management skills.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4–6 years of sophisticated law firm experience in corporate transactions and mergers & acquisitions; experience managing complex M&A projects and timelines; experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements and ancillary documents; strong due diligence experience, particularly in private equity transactions; exceptional writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills; and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
