REAL ESTATE CAPITAL MARKETS LITIGATION | MID TO SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a litigation Associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated real estate disputes involving commercial properties, lenders, landlords, and investors within a nationally recognized real estate platform.
The Associate will represent clients in a broad range of real estate litigation matters, including commercial landlord-tenant disputes, commercial foreclosure litigation, and other complex real estate-related controversies. Responsibilities include managing all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery and e-discovery, legal research, drafting pleadings and dispositive motions, courtroom appearances, and litigation strategy development. The role also involves preparing and serving predicate notices, drafting court filings, handling commercial lease disputes, and supporting foreclosure-related litigation matters.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial litigator seeking to develop a specialized real estate litigation practice while working closely with one of the nation's leading real estate groups. REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4+ years of commercial litigation experience; experience handling motion practice, discovery, e-discovery, and courtroom appearances; experience with commercial landlord-tenant litigation, including preparation and service of predicate notices and pleadings; strong legal research and writing skills; ability to draft substantive motions and briefs; strong academic credentials; and admission to practice in Georgia or eligibility to become licensed promptly. Experience with commercial foreclosure litigation is preferred, though willingness to learn the practice area will also be considered.
