REAL ESTATE CAPITAL MARKETS FINANCE | MID TO SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4-8 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-to-senior level Associate to join its Real Estate Capital Markets practice. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated commercial real estate finance and investment transactions within one of the nation's leading real estate platforms.
The Associate will represent lenders, investors, and other market participants in a broad range of commercial real estate finance matters. Responsibilities include structuring, negotiating, and documenting mortgage loan transactions and other forms of structured debt financing; advising clients on workouts and restructurings of distressed commercial real estate loans; and supporting acquisitions, dispositions, and other complex commercial real estate transactions. The role requires significant involvement in transaction management from inception through closing, including due diligence, document drafting, negotiations, and coordination among clients, opposing counsel, and transaction teams.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 4–8 years of commercial real estate finance experience; experience representing lenders in mortgage lending and structured finance transactions; familiarity with loan workouts and distressed debt matters; strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication abilities; strong academic credentials; and admission to practice in Georgia or eligibility to become licensed promptly. Large regional, national, or international law firm experience is preferred.
