CORPORATE FINANCE | MID TO SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Debt, Servicing & Restructuring group. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated finance and commercial real estate transactions within a growing Am Law 100 practice representing lenders, private credit providers, financial institutions, and commercial real estate developers nationwide.
The Associate will advise clients on a broad range of debt finance and real estate-related transactions, including senior debt, mezzanine financing, equity financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development financings, restructurings, foreclosures, and loan workouts. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex credit agreements and loan documents, managing transaction workflows, coordinating due diligence and closings, advising clients on deal structuring, and working closely with lenders, borrowers, and internal deal teams throughout all stages of a transaction.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience representing private credit providers, banks, and other financial institutions in sophisticated finance transactions. Experience representing borrowers is also viewed favorably. The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional drafting ability, and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; 3–5 years of transactional finance experience; meaningful experience managing deal workflows and drafting substantive credit documents; strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills; excellent academic credentials; and active admission in good standing with the Georgia Bar (or Massachusetts/New York Bar for other office locations). PREFERRED: Experience representing private credit providers, banks, and other financial institutions; borrower-side finance experience; and experience handling real estate-secured lending transactions.
