GENERAL LIABILITY / INSURANCE DEFENSE | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm,  is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its General Liability and Insurance Defense practice. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in delivering strategic legal representation to clients in a fast-paced, litigation-focused environment.

The Associate will handle matters from inception through resolution, including conducting file review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery, and representing clients in court, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions. The role also involves collaborating with expert witnesses, preparing for trial, and working closely with partners and clients to develop case strategy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong litigation skills, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and a high level of ownership over their matters while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; active bar admission in the applicable state; minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability, insurance defense, or related litigation; strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; experience with court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and administrative hearings; ability to manage multiple matters independently; and strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
