CORPORATE TRUST FINANCE | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (1-5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 50 firm,  is seeking an Associate to join its Finance & Banking Practice Group, specifically within the Corporate Trust Subgroup. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with flexibility to be based in any state where the firm maintains an office.

This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated structured finance transactions and the ability to work closely with trustees, collateral agents, financial institutions, and deal participants on complex finance matters. The role is ideal for attorneys seeking to build or deepen a practice at the intersection of banking, structured finance, and corporate trust work.

The Associate will represent trustees and collateral agents in structured finance transactions and provide legal counsel on a broad range of finance matters. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents, advising clients on transaction structure and risk allocation, managing deal execution, and collaborating with attorneys and professional staff to ensure high-quality legal service and efficient transaction management. The role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced practice.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates should have 1–5 years of structured finance experience, particularly experience representing trustees and/or collateral agents. The firm welcomes candidates from diverse professional backgrounds, including those with more limited legal experience who demonstrate exceptional work ethic, strong academic performance, maturity, and a consistent track record of success. Interest or familiarity with finance or accounting concepts is advantageous, particularly for candidates with one to two years of experience. All candidates must possess strong communication skills and be licensed and in good standing in the state where they practice.
