EMPLOYEE BENEFITS/ ESOP: Our client, the Atlanta office of a national law firm, is seeking an experienced employee benefits attorney with 5+ years of experience with ESOPs and employee benefits issues arising from mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling employee benefit plan sponsors regarding ERISA & IRA requirements for 401(k) plans and ESOPs; negotiating and drafting executive employee agreements and incentive plans on behalf of employers and executives; reviewing M&A agreements for ERISA review; and advising clients regarding compliance with Internal Revenue Code Sections 280G & 409A.
REQUIRED: A J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials; GA Bar admission; exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, initiative, and motivation; excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills.
