LABOR & EMPLOYMENT (VIRTUAL OFFICE) | SPECIAL COUNSEL (7+ YRS): Our client, an AmLaw200 firm, is seeking an experienced employment attorney to join its Virtual Office as Special Counsel. This primarily remote role offers the opportunity to handle a full-cycle employment litigation practice while maintaining flexibility and focusing on high-quality legal work without business development pressures.
The Special Counsel will manage a range of labor and employment matters, including administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and litigation for firm clients, including those involving Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) matters. Responsibilities include developing case strategies, drafting and reviewing pleadings and other work product, conducting depositions, and representing clients in hearings, conferences, and trials. The role will primarily focus on single-plaintiff litigation, with potential involvement in class actions and other complex employment matters. The position also includes supervising junior attorneys and collaborating with partners, supported by a dedicated team of paralegals and shared administrative resources. Some local travel may be required.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; 7+ years of employment law and litigation experience; experience handling administrative charges, demand letters, and employment litigation matters, including EPLI and FLSA-related claims; strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills; ability to work independently in a remote environment; and active admission in good standing to the Georgia Bar.
