CORPORATE | M&A & PRIVATE EQUITY | SENIOR ASSOCIATE (5–7 YRS): Our client, an AMLaw 100 firm, is seeking a senior-level Associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collegial corporate group on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, while leveraging the resources and international platform of a leading global law firm.

The Senior Associate will focus on M&A and private equity transactions, with substantial responsibility drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and the full suite of related transaction documents. The role includes supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies across the full investment lifecycle, including initial platform acquisitions, add-on transactions, portfolio company governance matters, and exits. Familiarity with middle-market deal structures is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong business judgment, maturity, and the ability to manage both internal teams and external client relationships effectively.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; 5-7 years of experience with a strong emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions; demonstrated proficiency drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and related transactional documentation; proven experience supporting private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle; strong interpersonal, communication, and client-management skills; excellent academic credentials; large national or international law firm experience preferred; licensed to practice law in Georgia or eligible to become licensed promptly; ability to reside in the Atlanta area at or prior to hire and work in the office at least three business days per week.
