CORPORATE M&A | JUNIOR TO MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (2-4 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Associate to join its Business Group. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate transactions within a collaborative national practice.
The Associate will support a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, entity structuring, governance matters, and commercial transactions. Responsibilities include conducting and coordinating due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing transaction timelines, coordinating closings and post-closing matters, and advising clients on general corporate law issues, including entity formation and governance.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized and accredited law school; 2–4 years of experience handling M&A transactions; experience conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing closings and post-closing matters; working knowledge of general corporate law, entity formation, and governance matters; strong project management and communication skills; and admission to practice in Georgia, eligibility to waive into the Georgia Bar, or willingness to sit for the Georgia Bar Exam. Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred. Experience with joint ventures and commercial contracts is a plus.
