ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATORY | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Environmental Enforcement & Regulatory Counseling Practice within the Environmental and Mass Tort Department. This role offers the opportunity to advise clients on complex environmental matters across air, water, and land, within a nationally recognized and forward-thinking practice.
The Associate will counsel clients on compliance with federal and state environmental regulations, represent clients in enforcement actions and regulatory investigations, and assist with negotiations and litigation involving environmental matters. Responsibilities include handling matters arising under major federal environmental programs, working with regulatory agencies, and providing strategic guidance on environmental risk and compliance. The role also involves leveraging advanced technology tools, including AI-driven platforms, to enhance research, drafting, and analytical work, allowing for a focus on higher-value strategic legal solutions.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–4 years of experience with environmental regulations and regulatory agencies; substantive experience with federal environmental programs; strong research, writing, and analytical skills; interest or background in environmental law or related fields; willingness to utilize innovative technology tools; and active admission to the Georgia Bar. Prior state or federal agency experience is a plus.
