HEALTHCARE - LIFE SCIENCES | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–5 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Health Care & Life Sciences (HCLS) Practice.
This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level attorney with significant health care and life sciences experience looking to advise clients on sophisticated regulatory and transactional matters across the health care industry. The role offers the opportunity to work with national health systems, global life sciences enterprises, Fortune 20 companies, emerging digital health organizations, and private equity clients in the US and abroad.
The Associate will advise clients on a broad range of health care and life sciences matters, including regulatory compliance, health care transactions, corporate governance, strategic affiliations, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, reimbursement matters, fraud and abuse issues, and other complex legal matters affecting health care providers and life sciences organizations. Responsibilities also include counseling clients on evolving federal and state regulatory requirements, managing multiple matters simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams on regulatory and transactional matters, negotiating transaction documents, and providing strategic legal advice on health care and life sciences business initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of large law firm experience focused primarily on health care and life sciences matters. Applicants should have substantial experience handling regulatory and transactional work within the HCLS industry, managing multiple matters concurrently, and advising sophisticated clients on complex legal issues. Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills are required. Excellent academic credentials and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment are essential.
