CORPORATE - MERGERS & ACQUISITIONS | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–4 YRS): Our client, a Global50 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team within the Corporate Practice Group.
This opportunity is ideal for a transactional attorney with significant mergers and acquisitions experience looking to advise clients on sophisticated domestic and international transactions, including private equity investments, joint ventures, complex restructurings, and other strategic corporate matters. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions across a broad range of industries while collaborating with a globally integrated corporate practice.
The Associate will advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, private investments, joint ventures, complex restructurings, and other strategic commercial matters. Responsibilities also include leading transactions from inception through closing, serving as the primary draftsperson for principal transaction documents, managing multiple transactions simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional and cross-border teams, negotiating transaction documents, and providing strategic legal advice to clients on complex business initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 3 to 4 years of law firm transactional experience focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactions. Applicants should have substantial experience leading M&A deals from inception through closing, serving as the lead draftsperson for primary transaction documents, managing multiple transactions concurrently, interacting directly with clients and opposing counsel, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary and cross-border teams on sophisticated domestic and international matters. Strong drafting, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills are required. The position requires three days per week in the office.
