Our client, a leading national labor and employment law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Sr. Associate or Of Counsel for its Atlanta office. The attorney will independently lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters under the FLSA and related state laws. This opportunity is suited for a senior employment litigator capable of independently managing matters through all phases of litigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims under the FLSA and related state laws; manage matters from inception through resolution
• Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings and discovery; drafting and arguing motions; taking and defending depositions; and preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial

REQUIREMENTS:

• Significant employment litigation exp. (7+ yrs) with the seniority and judgment to independently lead and manage single-plaintiff employment litigation matters
• Strong experience with pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation; excellent writing, analytical, organizational, and case-management skills
• Self-starter able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• JD from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Georgia Bar license required
