CORPORATE | JUNIOR ASSOCIATE (1–3 YRS): Our client, a national firm, is seeking a Junior Corporate Associate. This opportunity offers the chance to work with start-ups, emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and investors on sophisticated corporate transactions while developing a practice alongside leading attorneys in the venture capital and emerging companies space.
The Associate will support clients throughout the business lifecycle, with a focus on start-up and emerging growth company matters, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include assisting with seed and venture capital financings, drafting and reviewing corporate and transactional documents, supporting due diligence processes, preparing closing materials, and advising clients on corporate matters in collaboration with senior attorneys. The role provides meaningful exposure to founders, executives, investors, and other participants in the venture capital ecosystem.
Candidates should be eager to develop a sophisticated corporate practice and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, drafting, research, and communication skills, along with a demonstrated interest in representing entrepreneurial companies and investors. Experience with start-ups, emerging growth companies, venture capital transactions, or M&A matters is preferred.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing; approximately 1–3 years of corporate transactional experience (Class of 2023–2024 preferred); prior large law firm experience required; strong academic credentials; exceptional written, oral, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills; and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Experience representing start-ups, emerging growth companies, or investors in venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
