ENERGY TRANSACTIONAL PROJECT FINANCE | MID TO SENIOR LEVEL ASSOCIATE (4-7 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw50 firm, is seeking an Associate to join its Energy Transactional practice.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with renewable energy and project finance experience looking to work on sophisticated financing and development transactions for energy and infrastructure projects. The role offers significant responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to advise clients on complex project finance matters within a nationally recognized renewable energy practice.
The Associate will represent clients in renewable energy project finance and development transactions involving energy and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include advising clients on tax equity financings, debt financings, project development transactions, and renewable energy financing structures, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing significant components of complex transactions, coordinating with multidisciplinary deal teams, and providing strategic legal guidance throughout all phases of project financing and development.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 4 to 7 years of project finance and development experience, including experience with tax equity financing and/or debt financing, ideally involving renewable energy or infrastructure projects. Applicants should possess strong drafting and negotiation skills, excellent teamwork and communication abilities, and the ability to independently manage significant portions of sophisticated transactions.
