LITIGATION - GENERAL LIABILITY | ASSOCIATE (1–15 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its General Liability Practice.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with one to fifteen years of litigation experience who has an interest in insurance defense, personal injury, premises liability, and complex general liability matters. The position offers the opportunity to work with a nationally recognized litigation team handling significant exposure cases while developing litigation skills alongside experienced trial attorneys.
The General Liability Associate will represent businesses, individuals, insurers, and self-insured entities in a broad range of liability matters. Responsibilities include managing cases through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trial preparation; conducting legal research; drafting motions, briefs, and other litigation documents; developing defense strategies; and working closely with clients and senior attorneys to achieve favorable outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle sophisticated matters involving personal injury, premises liability, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and other complex litigation disputes.
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have one to fifteen years of litigation experience, including experience handling insurance defense matters, case management, discovery, motion practice, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Experience involving personal injury and premises liability is required. Applicants should possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage litigation matters effectively. A J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Georgia Bar are required. Partnership opportunities may be considered for candidates with significant relevant experience.
