Description

REAL ESTATE - RETAIL | JUNIOR ASSOCIATE (0–3 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw200 firm, is seeking a junior Associate to join its Real Estate Practice. This opportunity offers the chance to build a specialized retail real estate practice while working on sophisticated commercial transactions for landlords, tenants, buyers, and sellers under the mentorship of an experienced real estate team.

The Associate will focus exclusively on retail real estate matters, assisting clients with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating retail and commercial leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants, preparing and negotiating purchase and sale agreements for buyers and sellers, drafting reciprocal easement agreements, and supporting other transactional matters involving retail businesses and the underlying real estate. The role provides significant exposure to all phases of commercial real estate transactions and offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Candidates should be eager to develop a sophisticated transactional practice and comfortable working on multiple matters while collaborating closely with colleagues and clients. Prior experience drafting leases or purchase and sale agreements is not required, making this an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking to build a career in commercial real estate. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, drafting, and interpersonal skills, demonstrate initiative, and thrive in a collaborative practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking specialized commercial real estate experience, meaningful responsibility, and long-term professional growth within a highly regarded real estate practice.

REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission, or eligibility to practice, in Georgia; zero to three years of real estate or transactional experience; strong academic credentials; exceptional research, writing, analytical, and communication skills; the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; and a proactive, client-focused approach. Prior experience with commercial leasing, purchase and sale transactions, or retail real estate is beneficial but not required.

TO APPLY: Please submit a resume, cover letter, and academic transcripts in PDF format.
