REAL ESTATE (LEASING) | SENIOR ASSOCIATE (6+ YRS): Our client, a boutique firm, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join its Real Estate Development & Investments practice. This opportunity offers the ability to work on sophisticated commercial leasing transactions while also handling broader commercial real estate matters within a collaborative and growing practice.
The Attorney will represent landlords, tenants, developers, investors, and other real estate stakeholders in complex leasing transactions. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and structuring commercial lease agreements and related leasing documents; advising clients on leasing strategy and risk management; and serving as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the transaction process. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to maintain leasing as a core component of their practice while also handling a variety of commercial real estate matters.
In addition to leasing work, the Attorney will assist clients with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and other commercial real estate transactions. REQUIRED: J.D. from an accredited law school; 6+ years of commercial leasing experience; significant experience drafting and negotiating complex lease agreements; experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and financings; strong academic credentials; exceptional drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills; and the ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions.
