INFORMATION TECH - DIGITAL RISK ADVISORY & CYBERSECURITY | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3–6 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its Digital Risk Advisory and Cybersecurity Team within the Digital Assets and Data Management Practice Group

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with privacy and cybersecurity experience looking to advise national and multinational clients on sophisticated cybersecurity incidents, regulatory investigations, and proactive cybersecurity risk management initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile cybersecurity matters while collaborating with a nationally recognized privacy and cybersecurity practice.

The Associate will advise clients on a broad range of digital risk and cybersecurity matters, including cybersecurity incident response, post-incident regulatory investigations, privacy and cybersecurity compliance, incident response tabletop exercises, cybersecurity program development, risk assessments, forensic investigations, and other complex data privacy and security matters. Responsibilities also include counseling clients on evolving state, federal, and international privacy and cybersecurity laws, managing multiple matters simultaneously, collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical professionals, coordinating with forensic vendors and outside consultants, and providing strategic legal advice on technology-driven risk management initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS: Candidates must have 3 to 6 years of law firm experience focused primarily on privacy, cybersecurity, digital risk, or related litigation and regulatory matters. Applicants should have substantial experience advising clients on cybersecurity incident response, regulatory compliance, privacy and security laws, and risk management. Familiarity with state, federal, and international privacy and cybersecurity laws, including state breach notification laws, CCPA, GDPR, and GLBA, is preferred. Candidates with three or more years of commercial litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in cybersecurity will also be considered. Strong drafting, project management, communication, and collaboration skills are required. Applicants must have excellent academic credentials, be admitted to or eligible for admission in the jurisdiction where they will practice, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment handling urgent and complex matters.
