PRIVATE EQUITY M&A | MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-4 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its growing Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated private equity and M&A transactions within a nationally recognized, technology-driven transactional practice.
The Associate will advise financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, and investors on complex transactions across a broad range of industries, with a notable focus on healthcare services. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing M&A deal processes, conducting due diligence, coordinating transaction teams, and advising on strategic and operational issues throughout the lifecycle of a deal. The role also includes exposure to innovative healthcare business models, digital health, post-acute care, joint ventures, and AI-driven healthcare platforms.

REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school; 3–4 years of private equity and M&A experience, preferably from an Am Law 100 or 200 firm; experience representing sponsors, portfolio companies, founders, or investors in complex transactions; strong drafting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to independently manage transactions while collaborating within a team environment; and active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction. Experience in healthcare services transactions and familiarity with generative AI and legal technology tools is a plus.
