LABOR & EMPLOYMENT| MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE (3-7 YRS): Our client, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a mid-level Associate to join its nationally ranked Labor & Employment Group. This role offers the opportunity to work with public and private companies, executives, and management teams on sophisticated employment litigation, counseling, and transactional matters within a highly collaborative national practice.
The Associate will support the Atlanta-based Employment Deal team on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including employment-related litigation, restrictive covenant disputes, executive compensation issues, employment agreement negotiations, and employment law support for corporate transactions. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, managing fact development, preparing for and defending depositions, handling written discovery and discovery disputes, drafting substantive motions and briefs, and supporting due diligence and drafting efforts related to employment agreements and corporate deals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking a hybrid practice combining litigation, counseling, and transactional employment work with nationally recognized clients and a clearly defined path for advancement.
REQUIRED: Juris Doctor from a nationally recognized and accredited law school; 3–7 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or employment litigation; strong academic credentials; excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills; ability to manage fast-paced workloads and competing priorities; and admission to practice in Georgia or eligibility to waive into the Georgia Bar. Am Law 100 experience is strongly preferred. Experience with employment agreements, restrictive covenants, or employment due diligence is a plus.
