Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate to join its Atlanta Finance team. The Associate will represent financial institutions and corporate borrowers in a variety of sophisticated lending transactions, including acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities. This opportunity is well suited for an attorney with strong commercial finance experience who is interested in handling complex lending matters in a sophisticated transactional practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent financial institutions and corporate borrowers in sophisticated lending transactions; handle acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities; assist with structuring, documenting, negotiating, and closing complex finance transactions
• Work collaboratively with clients, deal teams, and attorneys throughout all stages of financing transactions; manage multiple transactional matters and deadlines while providing responsive, detail-oriented client service

REQUIREMENTS:

• ​3-5 years exp. representing financial institutions and corporate borrowers in complex lending transactions, including experience with acquisition financings, cross-border financings, and syndicated credit facilities
• PREFERRED: Experience practicing at a large law firm; strong transactional drafting, analytical, organizational, communication, and deal-management skills
• JD from a nationally recognized and accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
• Georgia Bar license required
